The service
coursier.paris is an express courier platform for documents and parcels in Paris and the Île-de-France region. Enter the pickup and drop-off, see a firm price straight away, pay online, and the job is automatically sent to the best-placed network of professional couriers. No waiting for a quote, no phone call.
No. You can order as a guest: addresses, contacts, payment, and a tracking link by email. An account is only required for the Business area, which adds monthly invoicing and delivery history.
Professional couriers from our partner network. For every job the platform queries the available networks and keeps the one offering the best price at the time of ordering. You deal with a single company: coursier.paris.
By email, at contact@coursier.paris. The whole journey is built to work without a phone call: the price is shown before you order, tracking is online, and every step triggers an email. For a job already under way, simply reply to the confirmation email — your reference is attached to it.
Yes, to individuals and companies alike, at the same price and with no commitment. Companies ordering regularly benefit from a Business account and its consolidated monthly invoice.
Pricing and quotes
The price depends on the actual road distance between the two addresses, the size of the item and the service level chosen. It is computed in real time from courier network rates and shown all-inclusive: a firm price, not an estimate.
No. The price shown when you order is the price charged, whatever the traffic or how long the job actually takes. A quote is valid for fifteen minutes; after that it is recalculated before payment.
No. The displayed price includes VAT and covers pickup, transport and delivery. No fuel surcharge, no booking fee, no subscription.
One order covers one pickup and one drop-off. For a round trip, place two orders — the second one can be scheduled in advance. Multi-stop rounds are handled through a Business account: describe your needs in the Business form.
Yes. The Business form lets you state your monthly volume and usual routes; we come back with a rate card matched to it, invoiced monthly.
Coverage
Paris and the whole Île-de-France region: Paris (75), Seine-et-Marne (77), Yvelines (78), Essonne (91), Hauts-de-Seine (92), Seine-Saint-Denis (93), Val-de-Marne (94) and Val-d’Oise (95). An address outside these departments is rejected as you type it, before any payment.
No, the platform is limited to Paris and Île-de-France. For shipments to the rest of France or abroad, a national or international express carrier will be both better suited and cheaper.
Yes: Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle, Orly and Le Bourget are all in Île-de-France, as are every Paris railway station. Add the terminal, hall or gate number to the pickup or delivery instructions — nothing saves the courier more time.
The price follows the distance: a Paris–Melun job naturally costs more than one inside Paris. The exact amount appears as soon as both addresses are entered, before you commit to anything.
Delivery times
Three service levels: Eco, Standard and Super Express. For a document or a parcel: 4 hours, 2 hours and 55 minutes at most. For a 50 kg cargo load: 4 hours, 2h30 and 1h30. For a van load: 5 hours, 3h30 and 2h30. The clock starts when the shipment is collected, not when you order.
Yes, up to six days ahead. At the time-slot step, choose “Later” and set the pickup date and time you want; the job is dispatched automatically at the right moment. The limit comes from the card hold, which is only valid for seven days: beyond that, the delivery would take place with no way to charge for it.
The service runs 24/7, subject to couriers being available when you order. At quiet hours, overnight and on public holidays, the price shown reflects how busy the network is.
Tracking shows the job in real time and every change of step triggers an email. If an announced time is missed for a reason attributable to us, write to us: we look at a gesture of goodwill case by case.
Parcels and contents
Four formats: Document up to 5 kg (20 × 15 × 20 cm), Parcel up to 30 kg (90 × 65 × 50 cm), Cargo up to 50 kg (100 × 90 × 50 cm) and Van, to be chosen between 70, 500 and 750 kg. The format decides the vehicle sent: beyond a document, it is no longer a bicycle but a scooter, a car or a van.
Cash and bearer instruments, narcotics, weapons, dangerous or flammable goods, unpackaged perishables, live animals, and anything whose carriage is unlawful. Alcohol is accepted under conditions and must be declared in the form.
Yes, by ticking the “fragile” option in the form: the information reaches the courier. Packaging remains your responsibility and must protect the contents during a two-wheeler journey.
Every job is covered by the liability of the carrier performing it, within the limits set by the French standard contracts for road haulage. For valuable contents, declare them: enhanced cover can be arranged before pickup.
Yes. The parcel must be closed and protected before the courier arrives; couriers do not supply packaging. Poorly protected contents are the leading cause of disputes.
Payment and invoicing
Card and Apple Pay, online, through Stripe. No card data passes through our servers. Cash is never accepted, neither at pickup nor at delivery.
When you order, your card is only authorised: a hold, the amount is reserved without being taken. That hold is higher than the price of the delivery, to cover waiting time or a return to sender without having to ask for your card again; the amount is shown before you pay. The charge only happens once the delivery is complete, for the amount actually due, and the balance is released. If the parcel never arrives, you have paid nothing.
The card authorisation is cancelled automatically and you are not charged. You get an email within minutes, and you are free to order again later or for another slot.
As long as no courier has set off for pickup, cancelling is free and the authorisation is released. Once the courier is on the way or the parcel has been collected, the job is payable, the service having begun.
Yes, a compliant PDF invoice is issued for every job, with 20% VAT, and sent by email. Business accounts also receive a consolidated monthly invoice covering every job in the period.
For a cancellation before pickup, a job that was never performed, or a lost parcel, the refund goes back to the card used, within a few working days depending on your bank. Write to us with your job reference.
Tracking and delivery
A tracking link is emailed to you as soon as you order. It shows the current step, the courier’s name once the job is assigned, and the position on a map — no account, no app to install. The link can be shared with the recipient.
You decide when ordering what the courier should do: bring the parcel back to the pickup address, or leave it at a reception desk or with a neighbour. The courier calls the contact number provided before leaving; a return to sender is charged as a second job.
Yes. Depending on the network performing the job, proof takes the form of a signature or a photo at delivery, visible from the tracking page and kept with the job.
Once the job has been dispatched, addresses can no longer be edited from the site: write to us immediately with your reference. If the courier has not collected yet, a correction is often possible.
Business accounts
Consolidated monthly invoicing instead of paying job by job, history and accounting exports for all your deliveries, cost centres per team or per client, and a rate card negotiated on your volume.
Fill in the Business form with your company registration number and estimated monthly volume. Requests are reviewed within one working day, and your access details are emailed to you on approval.
An integration is possible for Business accounts whose volume justifies it: automatic ordering from your system and status updates pushed back. Describe your needs in the Business form.
Yes. A Business account groups several users under the same billing entity, each with their own credentials, and their jobs all land on the shared monthly invoice.
